About “Holes” at the Springer Opera House

Make plans now to see one of several showings of “Holes” at the Springer Opera House taking place from February 23rd to March 3rd. When you purchase your tickets, you can select your preferred day and time, which vary depending on the date.

In case you aren’t familiar with the story by Louis Sachar, “Holes” centers around the main character, Stanley Yelnats. Stanley and his family happen to be cursed with bad luck. So, it comes as no surprise when, through no fault of his own, Stanley is sent to a labor camp as punishment.

Every day, Stanley and his fellow inmates—Zero, Zig-Zag, X-Ray, Squid, Armpit and Magnet—have to dig holes in the desert heat under the guise of “building character.” However, it doesn’t take long for Stanley to realize the Warden is looking for something.

You don’t want to miss a moment of the antics and adventure as the mystery of Camp Green Lake unravels. As Stanley digs up the truth, will he break his family’s curse while finding what the warden wants?
