13th Street Bar-Be-Q

Has your schedule picked up with the onset of spring, from sports to outdoor festivals? If you are looking to refuel and you love good old-fashioned pit-cooked barbecue, 13th Street Bar-Be-Que in Phenix City is ready to dish up that and more!

About 13th Street Bar-Be-Que

Established in 1988, 13th Street Bar-Be-Que is built on a foundation of fine-tuned family recipes, a passion for grilling and a love for community. Within three years, the small restaurant outgrew its original building and moved to a larger space, where you can still find it today.

What’s more, this family-owned and operated business has expanded throughout the years to include four locations. There are locations in Phenix City, Columbus, Ladonia and Cataula. It’s also gained the attention of the public with awards, ranging from being selected as one of the “Top 10 Places to Eat in Alabama” in 2005 and 2007 to the original pork chop sandwich being named one of the “100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama Before You Die.”

The menu

Are you wondering what else is on the menu? Along with delicious barbecue, guests will find ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and all the trimmings.

Of course, at 13th Street Bar-Be-Que, you can get meat by the pound, including sliced, chipped, or chopped pork, smoked ham, brisket and smoked turkey. And if you manage to save room for dessert, choose from pies like lemon, pecan or peanut butter, banana pudding or a brownie.
