The Field Restaurant in Fort Mitchell officially celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, October 22. Since then, it’s been full steam ahead for the new restaurant.
According to reports, owners Army Sgt. First Class Patrick and Shameka Williams are a husband-wife team. Both of them are graduates of the esteemed Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Colorado.
The Williams’, who both hail from Columbus, also both share a love of food and cooking, which they wanted to share with their community. Hence, The Field Restaurant in Fort Mitchell!
As of now, the restaurant is serving breakfast and dinner only. Guests can opt to dine-in or order takeout. You can place a pick-up order by calling (334) 384-9565.
The menu
Wondering what’s on the menu? Besides a hearty breakfast menu, you’ll find some of the best burgers in town.
Burgers include sliders and smash burgers with names like “The Soldier,” “The Drill Sgt” and the “PT Test,” just to name a few.
“The Soldier” is described as quarter pound beef patty topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. “The Drill Stg” kicks it up a notch with the addition of applewood bacon and American cheese.
For the “PT Test,” expect a quarter pound veggie patty with all the toppings.

Location
The Field Restaurant in Fort Mitchell is located at 808-A Highway 165 next to Rainbow Foods. From Central Highlands, it’s about a 16-minute drive away.
The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for breakfast. It closes for lunch and re-opens from 4 to 7 p.m. for dinner service.
