Coming Up: Local Mini Market

Local Mini Market

With the promise of all that fall brings right around the corner, there is a lot to look forward. One more thing to add to the list is the upcoming Local Mini Market presented by Southern Lovin’ Junkin’ Show and Uptown Columbus.

Mark Your Calendars!

The all-day event will take place at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center located in Historic Columbus. Doors are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Tickets are available now at localminimarket.eventbrite.com for $5. Kids 12 and under are free. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of Local Mini Market.

The Details

If you like American Pickers, Antiques Road Show and finding hidden treasures in unexpected places, you will love the Local Mini Market. There are more than 100 vendors set up in 55,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space.

You will find all kinds of junkin’ fun! There are antiques, boutiques, shabby chic, repurposed, retro, vintage, one-of-a-kind art, handcrafted goods and more. The possibilities for great finds are endless! Plus, there will be live music to help you keep the shopping pace!

Safety First

Since this is a community-wide event, there will be specific safety measures in place. Guests will have their temperatures checked before entry. Hand sanitizing stations will be strategically placed throughout the trade center. Face masks are recommended. Vendors will be spaced six feet apart. Surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

Not too Late

For those of you interested in selling your wares, there’s still time to be a vendor! A $50 application fee covers the cost of tables and chairs, booth electrical, Wi-Fi and two free tickets to give to a couple of your favorite people! The application is available online now.
