Coming Up: The Steel Woods in Phenix City

The Steel Woods in Phenix City

It’s music to our ears! It’s almost time for The Steel Woods in Phenix City to take the stage with special guest Tanner Usrey at the Phenix City Amphitheater on Friday, May 26th!

About The Steel Woods

Making their way down through Kentucky and Tennessee, The Steel Woods are stopping in the heart of Dixie before heading down to Florida for more live shows. More specifically, the Southern rock group will be coming to Phenix City!

The Nashville-born band debuted their first album, Straw in the Wind, in 2017. The band originally consisted of Alabama-native Wes Bayliss on guitar and vocals; the late Jason Cope on guitar; Johnny Stanton as the bassist; and Tyler Powers on guitar.

Following the first album, the country music band released two more albums. Their second album, Old News, was released in 2019, with the third album, All of Your Stones, coming out in May 2021. In fact, the third album debuted after the death of founding member Jason Cope, who died in January 2021.

Now, The Steel Woods continue to tour and sometimes even play with inspirations like Lynyrd Skynyrd and others. And don’t forget to listen to Tanner Usery’s single, “Give It Some Time,” before the live show in three weeks!
