October is here, which means it’s time for spooktacular events! Get into the spirit before Halloween weekend by attending Movies & Treats at the Library, hosted by the Columbus Public Library!
About Movies & Treats
On October 19, the Columbus Public Library will present Movies & Treats at the Library and screen two spooky and kooky family-friendly Halloween movies. Everyone is invited, from big and little kids to adults, and it is free!
What movies are showing? This double feature will show the hit classics “Hocus Pocus” and “The Haunted Mansion!” The first movie starts at 1 p.m. Seating is limited. It’s first come, first served—so arrive early to grab your spot and snacks.
Speaking of snacks, light snacks will be provided at this event by Pooka Bean & Co. Plus, there will be a special guest appearance by author Jamie Simes-Bonner, the author of the kids’ book “Cotton Rainbows.”
More about the event
There are a few rules and notices that apply to this event. First, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. During the experience, children must remain seated, which is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure.
As a courtesy, silence phones and take necessary calls outside the auditorium.
Location
Have you ever been to the Columbus Public Library before? “Come, we fly!” to 3000 Macon Road in Columbus to enjoy Movies & Treats at the Library. Luckily for Central Highlands Apartment Homes residents, it’s just a 15-minute drive away!
